Anymated Transitions

The golden rule of animation is that action need 3 parts to be preceived by the audience; preaction, action and after action. Thats is tell em what you will do, do it and tell them you did it. So if a person is say, grabbing a glass of what, its typical that the pre action will be the character seeing and reacting to the glass first, then reaching for and grabbing the glass, lastly the after action may be an article of clothing settling down after words to communicate the action is over.
